Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Quiver Words game and the quiverwords.app website collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. Quiver Words is published by Barton Eby Online Marketing, LLC under the name Arrow Stack Games ("we," "us"). It applies to the web version at quiverwords.app/play, this website, and the Quiver Words apps for Android and iOS when they're released.

Information we collect

Technical information

Like any website, the servers that deliver the game receive your device's IP address and basic request details (such as browser or device type and the time of the request). Google Firebase, which hosts the site, processes this information to deliver the game and keep the service secure. We don't use it to identify you.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or payment information. There are no accounts and no in-app purchases. The current version has no leaderboard, so nothing you do in the game is sent to us. If you email us for support, we'll receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information kept on your device

The game saves your level, scores, stars, gems and settings (sound and vibration) in your device's local storage. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data (or, for the apps, clearing the app's data or uninstalling it) deletes it.

Advertising (mobile apps)

The web version of Quiver Words doesn't show third-party ads. When the Android and iOS apps are released, they'll be free to play and supported by ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads (for example, watching an ad to get a gem). AdMob and its partners may collect and use:

• your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA, where you've allowed it)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language and app version
• ad interactions, such as which ads were shown or tapped

This information is used to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, where you've agreed, personalize ads. To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

Your consent: if you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app will ask for your consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown. On iPhone and iPad, the app will ask your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your device's advertising identifier. If you decline, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized based on your activity across other apps and sites.

The website and web game

quiverwords.app and the web version of the game are hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. The website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and the web game doesn't show third-party ads. Fonts and images are served from our own site, and the game's sounds are created in your browser. We don't currently use analytics on the website or in the game. If we add analytics, crash reporting or a leaderboard in the future, we'll update this policy before we do.

How we use information

We don't sell your personal information for money.

Who we share it with

• Google Firebase (hosting), which processes data on our behalf
• Google AdMob and the ad partners it works with, as described above (mobile apps only)
• Authorities, if we're legally required to, or to protect the rights and safety of our players or others

Under some U.S. state laws, letting ad partners use device information for personalized advertising may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You'll be able to opt out at any time from the app's settings or your device settings, as described below.

Your choices and rights

• Limit ad personalization (apps): on Android, go to Settings > Google (or Privacy) > Ads and delete or reset your advertising ID. On iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and turn off tracking for Quiver Words.
• Change your consent (apps): where a consent message was shown, you'll be able to change your choice from the game's settings.
• Delete local data: clear your browser's site data, or uninstall the app or clear its storage.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email us and we'll respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Quiver Words is intended for players 13 and older. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're a parent or guardian and have a concern, email us.

Security and storage

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and handled by Google, which may process it in the United States and other countries. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the small amount of information we handle.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, give notice on this site or in the game.
